Over the three-months we work together, you have personalized yoga and wellness programming specific that you can fit into your life. Receive practices designed for your needs, fitness education, with personalized lifestyle support.

We begin with a 90-minute in-person assessment practice on Zoom. At the end of each month, we meet again for live Zoom practices. In the space between, you get weekly Yoga Wellness™ programming with on-demand classes specific to your needs. We have weekly check-ins, where I assess for next week’s classes, and you can reach out with questions anytime.

Weekly programming. Videos, practice notes, and other wellness guidance supports your long-term goals and current life. Classes are varying lengths with a balance of repetition to help you learn, and novelty to keep you challenged and motivated.

Practice when it works for you.  You choose when you practice. I help you troubleshoot and get on track.

Change takes time. Get coached through challenges, which are opportunities for learning and where many people get sidetracked. We’re not Insta-influencers selling branded supplements and quick fixes. We’re into science and mindfulness.

If your calendar is full, and you think, “I can’t go for that”, remember caring for yourself during the busy periods is crucial for long-term wellbeing. There never is a perfect time to start.

Three months is a perfect time to develop new habits. Can’t, Won’t, Don’t Stop.

Our generations have lived through more recessions than we can count. Talking into a watch once seemed futuristic, and now we are connected and receiving input from our wrists. Sitting, screens, and even other movement practices take a toll on your body. That is our expertise, but whatever physical practice we design, your nervous system is #1. An out-of-balance nervous system adversely affects sleep, athletic performance, the immune system, mental health, metabolism, disease profiles, pain, and your current and future health.

Three months allows us to address your joy and pain.

Evidence supports the use of yoga, breath work, and somatics for heart health, improving motor patterning, and pain. If you have pain, we respect it. This generally includes working on fascial adhesions, breath, and movement habits to create new neuromuscular patterns in a mindful and fun, way. Three months teaches new habits.

I have over 3000 hours of teaching private students online and in their homes. In addition, I personally have experienced injury, musculoskeletal pain, a major surgery, and a distressing period of chronic pain. I get it. Yoga helps you be present to process and live joyful moments in the midst of challenge.

I have seen doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and masseuses. They help. But things go back to where they were before...

I’m Gwen, and I’m an IAYT certified yoga therapist. I’ve been teaching for over fifteen years. (Learn more here.) I prioritize my mind + body practices, yet my life is more “working, middle-aged mom” than “super chill yogi”. I’m OK with that.

Who’s that girl? I’m Gwen, an IAYT-certified yoga therapist who’s great at helping people with holistic healthy movement, musculosketal conditions, pain relief, and mindfulness. Breathing practices are key to this, in conjunction with individualized practices that take into account your personal histories which influence the workings of your mind and body. I am a working, GenX, middle-aged mom, and I have figured out how to balance my wellness, fun, and my busy life. I’ve been teaching for over fifteen years. (More here.)
